Since 1961, the Capalbio Winery has been producing wines
from the grapes grown by its wine-growing members in the area south
of Grosseto in Italy.
This area is also known as Tuscan Maremma and its soil and climate
have made it particularly suitable for wine-growing.
The grapes grown there come within the regulations established
for the production of D.O.C. Capalbio-Red, Reserve, Cabernet Sauvignon,
Sangiovese I.G.T. Tuscan, Rosè, Vermentino, White and Vin Santo;
D.O.C. Ansonica Costa dell'Argentario; and I.G.T. Tuscan Maremma Red
and White.
Products in this area are made with respect for tradition and the Capalbio
       Winery's brand guarantees the total quality of products which are the fruit
of a rich, wholesome soil and traditional working methods.
